• This trip is being planned with families in mind and is based on the challenges many parents and grandparents experience when traveling with children of different ages. Many families have faced situations where children are unable to participate in the same rides or activities at theme parks because of age or height restrictions. This often requires families to split up so that each child has adult supervision. Single parents or grandparents traveling with multiple children may also face added difficulties, especially when children are of different ages or genders. A family group trip creates an opportunity for families to support one another throughout the vacation. Children can enjoy rides, activities, and events with other kids in similar age groups, making the experience more enjoyable for everyone. At the same time, parents and grandparents may have opportunities for short periods of personal time and added comfort, depending on the children’s ages and the group arrangements.
